Item Description:

Kinesiology is the SCIENCE of movement and the key to restoring health and well being.  Kinesiology is an alternative therapy and has its roots in TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) and chiropractic methods.  It incorporates techniques such as acupressure and meridian balancing, gentle structural manipulation, massage and nutrition.  Kinesiology works to balance all systems of the body and can help with any health issue whether it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Kinesiology assesses the health of a client via a muscle response test.  This is a gentle test which detects stresses and imbalances in the four areas of the body’s systems:

  • CHEMICAL: (e.g. nutrition, hormones, pH balance, metabolism, immune response)
  • STRUCTURAL: (e.g. bones, muscles, tissues)
  • EMOTIONAL: (e.g. stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, trauma)
  • ELECTROMAGNETIC: (e.g. hydration, energy levels, energy fields)

I am native to Dromard, Co. Longford. I qualified as a Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor and Water Safety Examiner 15 years ago and I've since continued to pursue a career in the area of Health & Fitness. After several years of intensive study in many different disciplines I found that the alternative therapy that was producing the fastest, most profound and long lasting results among my clients was Kinesiology so I decided to specialise. The particular branch of Kinesiology I work in is known as Neuroenergetic Kinesiology or NEK. The majority of my training in this discipline was completed in Northern Ireland with Ms. Orla Brady, Roslea and further training then in Steyr, Austria with Hugo Tobar Founder of NEK - www.kinstitute.com At present the Neuroenergetic Kinesiology Institute has 6 International colleges around the world with colleges in Australia, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, U.S.A and Ireland. In September 2010 I took over the role of Principal of The Irish College of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology. For more details please check out www.icnek.ie Currently I'm a student with the Institute of Health Sciences where I'm gaining expertise in many different subjects such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology to name but a few. It is my plan to continue my studies in these areas until I attain the highest academic qualification possible in this field, a Doctorate in Health Science. www.neki.ie 085 78758770
